Unrecognized

He was in the world, and though the world was made through him, the world did not recognize him. John 1:10

Why wasn't He recognized? Was He short on power or wealth? Was it because He was missing a military? Did He hide from everyone in a cave or live hidden in a private palace? Was He disguised as someone else?

He created us in His image, but we tried to create Him in ours. He was Perfect while we were sinners, yet we portrayed Him with our paint brushes and canvas. He lacked no authority and all of Heavens hope He carried in His heart. Every Angel awaited His next Words while we walked by Him never noticing who He is. He walked on sand in Israel; in Heaven He walked on Gold and to say "I am He,"walked on water.

Lacked nothing on Earth as He was here before we were, but His humble kind human nature made us look like fools. We did not recognized Him because, who would think that someone so special could be hid in a human body? He made us that way and He came that way. We fail to recognize the value God places and where He has placed it.

He has placed the worth of humanity on Himself. He made life for us! He could not be more valuable than the very way He presented Himself. He was priceless without gold, titles, governments, or angels. He lacked nothing because everything had light comming from Him.

Now He reigns! His light is in us who believe and accept the Holy Spirit. We are now priceless temples of the Holy Spirit led to live for Him, like Him. In Him we too lack nothing. The world may not recognize us, but rest assured He does. And by His Spirit we now recognize Him and await His return.
